I had a sort of epiphany today. I’ve been having trouble coming up with snowflakes. One reason is that I didn’t really have a budget setup, so I didn’t know when or if I ever had a shortfall in any particular area. I’ve started fixing that with my new budget spreadsheet, but that will take me a while to learn and create a realistic budget. A second source is what I’m calling “found money” which is money I was not expecting to receive. Now, I’ve found a third option. I want to create some financial rules that I must abide by, and if I don’t, then my punishment will be to put a certain amount of money towards my snowflaking. I’m going to sit back tonight, and attempt to come up with some good ones that will help me achieve my goals. I’ll post tomorrow with what I come up with.
