I know there was a couple of games over in Japan already, but I don’t really think those count. The real season starts tonight, and I’m really pumped! My favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals, should be pretty good this year with a chance to make some noise if the young talent starts to take shape and the pitching can hold on until Moulder and Carpenter can return to be dominate forces in the rotation.
I talk about goals alot, and I’m trying to keep my new year’s resolutions a priority in my mind. One of my New Year’s Resolutions involves my favorite sport of baseball. I resolved to make the effort and spend the money to go see more than one major league game, as well as a bunch of minor league games and even a couple of college games. Sports are so important in life, and baseball is my favorite. As you can see, I’m pumped!
So, here’s my picks for the season as I get ready to watch the Braves take on Washington in the new Nationals stadium.(Unfortunately on ESPN and not there)
