June Month in Review
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve consistently been up here making entries. Hopefully that will change soon. I want to get back on track because I was really doing some good things. For the most part, I’ve been able to keep those up these last few weeks. I’m still tracking my money real well. Of course, right now that means I’m tracking it leave my bank account. I’ve had some things come up where I had to add to my debt a little bit, but at least I’ve made some plans to attack the new debt. I’ll write more on the stuff that life brought up the last few weeks over the course of this month. The one thing that I have not had any success with lately is my health and my weight. I have defintely dragged on my diet and my exercise routine. So, I guess I’ll be making that my focus over the next couple of weeks. I’ve got to get back on track.
Money
The main thing I need to focus on in July is using my money wisely and with a purpose. Over the month of June, I didn’t do horribly with my money, but all that did was put me into the position where I can start really attacking my debt. I kept up with the bills, I made it through the hard times, some of which I was expecting. Now, it’s put up or shut up time, because I will definitely have some extra money this month. I’ve already been tempted to buy some concert tickets instead of paying stuff off, but I talked myself out of that. So, kuddoos to me, at least on that one.
Health & Fitness
This is the biggie, because I didn’t do practically anything the last month. I ate horribly and I didn’t exercise. Not a good combination, especially if your goal is to lose weight and get healthy. Not only have I gained weight the last month, I’ve found some other health-related issues might be coming up soon. Unfortunately, I won’t know anything on that front until mid-September, so until then, I have to figure out a good way to keep on track.
Work & Career
At least I have good news on this topic. I’ve got a new job that pays more, and I absolutely love it at the new job! The only thing I need to do in this area is keep working hard, and it will keep being great.
Overall
So the theme of this post is getting back on track, which is exactly what I need to do!
