Slip Sliding Away…

Well, it happened once again. I got my paycheck on Friday, and it included my bonus. With the extra money, I should have used it as a chance to completly get back on track. Unfortunately, I fell back into my old habits, and spent way too much money on things that I did not plan on buying. Part of the problem was that I had my debit card in my wallet for the weekend because I was going planning to use it in a couple of situations (grocery store and gas). Instead of just using it at those two places, I used it everywhere because I had it. I should have put it away and stopped using it, and that would have helped me out a bunch. The other part of the problem was self-discipline to just plain not spend that much money.
Now, I need to examine how much impact my weekend had on my finances and budget and overall plan. I’ll need to figure out where I need to go from here, because I can’t go back and change the past. I’ve just got to dive in and figure out where I’m at now, and then see what I need to do to fix it. I need to just start getting my information together, and then take steps until I’m back on track.

I just have to
Keep Steppin’
